AMOR FATI was cast Tin bronze alloy. The colour options are variations obtained using 2 chemicals: Liver of Sulfur and Thioantimonaat
One of those options seems so close to the original wax the customers fell in love with that I almost predict what their choice will be
I can also predict I will be there, eager to inspire them to let AMOR FATI retains her 'pure' bronze, tin bronze, colouring.
I can hear myself telling them how such high level of finish can afford being 'naked'.
I can hear myself ...
Meanwhile I practice polychromy
1) on Silicone Bronze alloy, a sculpture titled 'TRUST'
2) on Lead bronze alloy, a sculpture titled 'PETITE BAIGNEUSE'
'TRUST', Edition I/VI, Silicone bronze alloy cast 'Cire Perdue' in plaster mould, polychrome patina obtained with Thioantimonaat, applied warm.
PETITE BAIGNEUSE, Edition III/VI, Lead bronze alloy cast 'Cire Perdue' in plaster mould, polychrome patina obtained with Liver of Sulfur applied warm
